Project Approach

Document Quality Assurance
The accuracy of our documents is maintained with two independent checks prepared at
midpoint and at the conclusion of the working drawings, as well as through appropriate
agency reviews with the City of Ramsey, and Anoka County. BKV Group's Construction
Administrator will review the project for maintenance of technical quality, "construct-ability",
and "Bid-ability" of documents as they are developed at the design phase. Since all of our
. professional design disciplines are in-house except civil engineering, our in-house technical
review assures our team produces a comprehensive and coordinated final building set.

BKV Group has minimal change orders. Our records indicate change order percentages of
1/2 of I %, which we view as a demonstration of the accuracy of our documents.

Bidding and Construction Administration
BKV Group puts significant emphasis on the importance of client service during the
construction phase. Our construction coordination is led by Tom Daszkiewicz, our
Construction Administrator; in conjunction with the successful General Trades Contractor.
As a full-time construction professional,Tom's field experience is extensive, enabling him to
work in close coordination with the Contractor on behalf of the City of Ramsey. Tom will
lead a construction phase kick-off meeting prior to the initiation of construction activities as
well as providing a total of up to four on~site observations of work at critical stages of
construction to verifY compliance with the documents as well as coordination issues in the
field. At the completion of the construction, Tom will lead a substantial completion review
of the work to identifY 'punch-list' work items to achieve final completion of the project.

BKV

GROUP
