<br />PC CASE # <br /> <br />CONSIDER ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD <br />FOR THE PLANNING MANAGER <br /> <br />Givonna Reed Kone, Human Resources Manager <br /> <br />Background <br /> <br />Amber Miller's position was reclassified to Planning Manager on June 24, 2009 and Ms. <br />Miller has successfully completed the required six-month probationary period. The <br />Deputy City Administrator recommends that the City Council retain Ms. Miller as <br />Planning Manager and remove her from probation effective January 13,2010. <br /> <br />Funding Source <br /> <br />This position is included in the 20 1 0 General Fund Budget and no additional funding is <br />required to remove Ms. Miller from probation, <br /> <br />Staff Recommendation <br /> <br />Based on satisfactory completion of the sixth-month probationary period, staff <br />recommends that Amber Miller be removed from probation effective January 13,2010 <br />and retained as the Planning Manager. <br /> <br />Reviewed By: <br /> <br />rKG~ <br /> <br />City Administrator <br /> <br />PC: 1-11-10 <br /> <br />5.18 b <br />
