oThe Alexandria lIRA received $255,000 from the <br />Greater Minnesota Housing Fund (GMHF) for gap <br /> financing on The Trails project. The project will <br /> produce 100 new homes. Two model homes have been <br /> completed and seven homes are under construction. <br /> <br />West Central <br /> <br />Becker County EDA received $429,085 from Minnesota <br />Housing Finance Agency (MHFA) for a project in Lake Park. <br />The funding will be used for construction and value gap with <br />three homes being built through next year. Once the initial <br />homes are sold, the money will be revolved, with additional <br />homes being built as lundin9 becomes available. <br /> <br />Detroit Lakes lIRA received approximately <br />through MHFA for the rehabilitation of two 18-unit apartment <br />buildings. <br /> <br />Three cities in the West Central region received Small Cities <br />Development Program 9rants in 2003 from the Minnesota <br />Department of Trade and Economic Development (DTED): <br /> <br /> · Browns Valley received a second round of funding. <br /> They will rehabilitate approximately 50 homes at a cost <br /> of about $18,000 each. <br /> <br /> · Herman received funding for approximately 25 homes. <br /> <br /> · Villard received funding for sewer and housing which <br /> will result in approximately 15 units. <br /> <br />INH Investor Real Estate Group, LLP in Detroit Lakes <br />received $200,000 from GMHF for the Pleasant Acres <br /> <br /> Report provided by <br /> West Central Regional <br /> Network Coordinator <br /> Lynn Stadum <br />West Central Minnesota <br />Housing Partnership <br />218.739.6322 <br />800,220.9424 <br />wcmhp@prtel.com <br /> <br />development.
