<br />Attachment B <br /> <br />ORDINANCE #10-_ <br /> <br />CITY OF RAMSEY <br />ANO[a COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />AN AMENDMENT TO CHAPTER 117 WHICH IS KNOWN AS THE ZONING AND <br />SUBDNISION OF LAND CHAPTER OF THE CITY CODE OF RAMSEY~ MINNESOTA. <br /> <br />AN . ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTION 117-614 (SUBDlVISION DESIGN. <br />STANDARDS) O.F THKRAMSEY CITY CODE. <br /> <br />The City of Ramsey ordains: <br />SECTION 1 AUTHORITY <br /> <br />This ordinance is adopted pursuant t~ and under the authority of the City Charter of the City of <br />Ramsey. <br /> <br />SECTION 2 AMEND <br /> <br />Section 117-614 of the Ramsey City Code is amended to include the following text (additio~s <br />indicated as underlined text): .. <br /> <br />117-614(d) Public utilities <br /> <br />(1) Sanitary sewers and water facilities shall be installed in accordance with the standards and <br />specifications as required by the council and subject to the approvalof the city engineer. All <br />Duplex Dwellings. Single-Family Dwellings. Townhouse Dwellings. Twinhome/Quad' <br />Dwellings. as" defmed by City Code. shall be. required to have individual sanitary sewer" and <br />water. When fire suppression svstems are required bv appHcable law. each unit shall be <br />individually serviced by it separate fire suppression system. Joint facilities are strictly prohibited <br />in these types of dwelling units. For lots subdivided prior to and approved for such <br />loint services." these lomt services shall be reviewed at the time of Building Permit issuance and <br />required to incorporate a design that would ririnimize the potential for frozen water lines and fire <br />suppression systems. Multiple (apartment or condominium)DweUings 'are exempt from the foint <br />service restriction. <br /> <br />(10) Duplex. Townhouse. Twinhome." and Quad Dwellings 4esigned for separate ownership of <br />individual dwelling units shall be required to subdivide. each unit .separately through the. City's <br />subdivision ordinance.
