Scott indicated that I should prepare a deed and forward it to him for
execution. Question -- Since there was some hesitancy on the Council
regarding the park bond issue, and we don't know whether a referendum
if presented to the voters will pass, does the Council want to take
title to this property now? Please advise as to how it should proceed.

5) David Hexom Box Car:

As you know the formal complaint has been signed by Judge Coleman of
the County Court and a trial is pending on this matter.

6) I am working on the following pending items:

.

a) Boiler lawsuit - The only way to resolve this is to bring in the
general contractor Adolphson-Peterson and I will proceed in this
direction.

b) Holkers moved in houses - This is pending and should be finalized
in about 30 days.

c) Wal tec Contract - We can get no cooperation on this in order to
comply with the development contract and, therefore, a lawsuit will
be needed to be commenced.

7) Peter Raatikka and I have numerous easements to acquire and finalize.
We will present a list of these to you in the near future.

.

8) We need to start work on r~vising our subdivision ordinance in order
to take advantage of recen-G State legislation relating to this subj ect.
Also, we need to adopt some version of the Scenic Rivers Ordinance as
the DNR is pressing on this. The January 26, 1981 meeting with DNR and
Met Council will hopefully assist in getting this matter off dead center.
