6. Upon reclamation of any impounded animal, poundmaster shall collect the following fees from the party reclaiming such animal: a. Impounding fee: $ b. Boarding charge1 per day or any ~ fraction of a day $ ~, ~ c. License fee, (if necessary) $ d. Pick-up charges, (if necessary) $ e. I Each month poundmaster shall remit all collected fees along with a report of services rendered in connection with each animal impounded at the requ~st of the City or County during such month. The poundmaster is hereby appointed agent of the City or County for the purpose of collecting license fees, impoundment fees, board rates and pick-up charges. Per ordinance or contract all uncollectible checks made out to Blaine Midway All Pets, Inc. for said fees at time of billing will be submitted for legal processing through regular City or County channels. I 7. Any animal impounded by Order of City Health Officers or placed under quarantine by a ruling of the State Board of Health shall be boarded for the period required by such Order or ruling. At the end of such period, the City or County releases all of its interest, right and control over said animals, which may then be disposed of at the discretion of poundrnaster. Impounded animals which are unclaimed after five (5) days shall become the property of the poundmaster and may be disposed of or sold at its discretion. All proceeds from the disposition of such animals may be retained by the poundmaster. 8. Poundmaster agrees to defend and hold harmless the City or County, its officers, employees and agents, from any and all claims for damages or injuries arising out of poundrnaster's performance under this Contract. Poundmaster shall provide the City or County with proof of public liability insurance, including automobile liability in an amount of at least $100,000.00, per occurrence.
