Blaine, Minnesota 55434 Phone: 784-3669 POUNDMASTER CONTRACT Standard Contract - 1 AGREEMENT, made this M day of )Lf1.4. )1<-1k \..) , 19:1JJ, by and between Blaine Midway All Pets, Inc., a Minnesota corporation, hereinafter called poundmaster and the City or County of fiayovJ'''':1C;:r- a Minnesota Municipal Corporation, hereinafter called the City. In consideration of the covenants and agreements hereinafter I set ~orth, it is mutually agreed by and between the parties hereto as follows: 1. Poundmaster shal~ patrol the public streets of the City or County in accordance with the following request by authorized city staff, police department, or members of council. This also includes all direct all outs for live or dead animals: 2. poundmaster shall provide animal pick-up and impoundment services at the request of the City or County outside of regular patrol hours. I 3. All personnel of poundmaster shall be trained in the handling of animals. The City or County shall deputize such personnel with ~ch police powers necessary for the pick up and retention of all types of animals. 4. poundmaster will provide all vehicles, trailers and accessories required to perform its duties under this Contract. Van type vehicles will be equipped with two-way radio communication equipment. 5. All impounded animals shall be kept at poundmaster's facilities at 10911 Radisson Road N.E., Blaine, Minnesota 55434, and : shall be placed in suitable enclosures and fed and watered for a period not to exceed five (5) days, except as set forth in Paragraph 7. poundmaster's pound facilities shall be open 8:00 A.M. to 6:00 P.M. five (5) days a week. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays 8:00 A.M. until 12 o'clock noon for claiming animals. (PICK-UPS OTHER THAN OFFICE HOURS ARE ON AN EMERGENCY BASIS ONLY.) Contained animals or dead animals are not considered emergency.
