Public Hc:aring
P & Z -5-
12/15/80

Mr. r:eener asked, how far behind the barn.

Ms. Nugent says to the fence behind barn to the other fence. Sarre area
where the pigs are.

Mr. Rychner asks will rranure be spread along back property line.
.

Ms. Nugent says it will be put on pasture. If anyone gets the snell,
it will be Mrs. Dill as that is where it goes.

Ms. Kortuem says this is what makes it hard for us. The fence is not
in ~ backyard but if it was I would be upset. It is the srrart
conrrents like this is why we can't get along.

.

Ms. Nugent says if he threw a 4 x 4 at you wouldn't you get Iffid. How
v.uuld you like him to take pictures of you and watch you with binoculars
all the tirre.

Mr. Rychner says yes I took pictures of before the fence went up and after
it went up. He brought them up and sho.-ved them to the ne:rrbers of the
planning and zoning board.

Mr. D=ener wants to know if the fence existed when the police were called
there.

Mr. Rychner says that it was part way up and then the wind blew it down
and it was being re-erected when he called the police.

Mrs. E. Hoefort, 6210 l77th lane N. W., Ramsey, Minnesota

.

re live right behind - next door to the Nugents. The pigs were on one
acre of II!f land. Mrs. Nugent's father or sorreone whom I thought was her
father was to put in clover on our land and then the next year he said
he would put in com. The neighbors went along with it. w= did not
object to the pigs. They have never cone to us and asked if we wanted the
pigs, etc. w= live closer than Cindy Rychner and Glenn Rychner and we have
never been approached. This is all blown out of proportion. If it was
handled different before this I think we wouldn't have all this problem
now. There is a lack of COI1llll.IDication between people.

Ms. Hoefort says the cows and pigs are in the back of our property.
That is to our advantage. This is still farm property. The point is
getting the people together and sit down and talk. w= have aniIffils
all across the back of our land.

Mr. Villeneuve says I think it would be better if they would take dawn the fe..'1ce
and then talk about the CCMS. An appraiser told the Rychners that that fence
would reduce the value of their property by $4,000.00.

Ms. Nugent asks do they want to sell the land.

Mr. Villeneuve says they have thought about it but they couldn I t afford to
lose $4,000.00. The fence is not needed and it is not functional and was
put up just for spit.
