COUNCIL BUSINESS <br /> <br />7.01: Request to Waive Administrative Hearing Fee for an Appeal of a Zoning <br />Violation at the Property Generally Located at 6203 Rivlyn Avenue NW; <br />Case of Keith Kiefer <br /> <br />Environmental Coordinator Anderson reviewed the staff report. <br /> <br />City Administrator Ulrich advised there is no provision in the ordinance to waive fees. Doing so <br />would set precedence and staff does not support waiving fee. <br /> <br />Motion by Mayor Ramsey, seconded by Councilmember Wise, deny the request to waive the <br />$250 filing fee. <br /> <br />Motion carried. V oting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Wise, Dehen, Elvig, Jeffrey, and <br />Look. Voting No: None. Absent: Councilmember McGlone. <br /> <br />7.02: Consider Authorizing Proposal for City of Ramsey Website Redesign <br />Services <br /> <br />IT Manager Busch reviewed the staff report and described features such as calendars, blogging, <br />job posting, and search capability, which are not currently available on the City's website. <br /> <br />Councilmember Jeffrey noted the large discrepancy from the low to high bid. <br /> <br />IT Manager Busch reviewed the contents of the bids, noting some included project management <br />or limited the number of pages they would put on the site. Staff will be putting the City's <br />information on the web site to save money. <br /> <br />Councilmember Jeffrey asked whether the City will host its own server or if Bitwise Logic will <br />be responsible for hosting, the license, and server maintenance. <br /> <br />City Council/February 9, 2010 <br />Page 5 of 13 <br />
