PC CASE #q, V p <br />CONSIDER ENDING THE PROBATIONARY PERIOD <br />FOR A PATROL /SUPPORT SERVICES SERGEANT <br />Givonna Reed Kone, Human Resources Manager <br />Background <br />Tim Frankfurth was promoted to Patrol /Support Services Sergeant on September 23, <br />2009. Mr. Frankfurth has successfully completed the required six -month probationary <br />period as a Patrol /Support Services Sergeant and the Chief of Police recommends <br />retaining Mr. Frankfurth as a full -time regular Patrol /Support Services Sergeant. <br />Staff Recommendation <br />Based on satisfactory completion of the sixth -month probationary period, staff <br />recommends that Tim Frankfurth be retained as a full -time regular Patrol /Support <br />Services Sergeant. <br />Funding Source <br />The Patrol /Support Services Sergeant position is included in the 2010 General Fund <br />Budget and there is no additional cost to remove Mr. Frankf firth from probation. <br />Committee Action <br />Make a motion recommending that the City Council adopt a resolution ending the <br />probationary period for Tim Frankfurth and granting status as a full -time regular Patrol/ <br />Support Services Sergeant, effective March 23, 2010. <br />Reviewed By: / <br />Kurtis G.
