and County approval. He pointed out this lease term was different from the term <br />identified in the Letter of Intent with the County approved by the Council in December <br />2009. Subsequent negotiations with Anoka County resulted in the term language <br />amendment. Mr. Goodrich reported that with regard to liability, the County is self - <br />insured. He talked about liability for the common entrances. The City would insure <br />those areas; however, inside the lease space, the County would be liable unless the City <br />caused some negligence. Mr. Goodrich added that the County should treat the facility as <br />if it is their own — like we do. He stated that he feels comfortable with this lease. <br />Motion by Councilmember McGlone and seconded by Councilmember Wise to approve <br />the lease agreement as presented contingent upon the City Attorney approval as to legal <br />form. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers McGlone, Wise and <br />Dehen. Voting No: Councilmember Elvig stating he did not appreciate the use. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />Motion by Councilmember Elvig and seconded by Councilmember Wise to adjourn the <br />meeting. <br />Motion carried.
