c <br />LRRWMO Meeting Minutes <br />July 20, 1988 <br />Page 2 <br />Motion was made by Raatikka, seconded for discussion by Mathisen, <br />to pay the bill for the Annual Report. <br />Mathisen stated that he will speak with Anokats Finance Director <br />to see why the bill was more than it was last year. <br />Upon voice vote on the motion all. voted. yes. Motion carried. <br />Barr Engineering submitted a bill in the amount of $153.00 for <br />meeting attendance and mileage for the period 4-3 -88 through 5- 28 -88. <br />Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Raatikka, to approve the <br />$153.00 Barr Engineering bill. All voted yes. Motion carried. <br />A letter dated 6 -2 -88 was received from Barr Engineering request- <br />ing payment in the amount of $1,388.75, total payable for the contract <br />for the completion of the Management Plan. Mathisen reported that his <br />records show Barr Engineering is still owed $1,000 for the Management <br />Plan. Mathisen stated he would check into this discrepancy further. <br />No action taken. <br />REPORT OF OFFICERS <br />None. <br />CONSIDERATION OF COMMUNICATIONS <br />Schrantz noted that comments on the Water Management Plan have been <br />received from the Cities of Andover and Anoka. The Commission concurred <br />that they would wait until comments from the cities and the State were <br />received before changing the plan accordingly. <br />Mathisen was in receipt of a newsletter "Conservation Menthor" put <br />out by the Board of Water and Soil Resources. <br />Skallman received correspondence from the Minnesota Department of <br />Natural Resources regarding several permits and their DNR approvals- <br />#87-6187: Amendment Request - Gerald Bauer. Original request to widen <br />the channel on the east side of Ford Brook to create an open <br />water area for waterfowl. Approval for similar work was re- <br />quested for the west side of the channel. <br />#88 -6079: Permit extension - John Cary and Don Watson. Road stabilization <br />and wildlife enhancement, unnamed wetland #2 -383W, Anoka County. <br />#88- 6351: Permit request - J. Menkveld Assoc. Excavation of open water <br />area in Type 3 wetland. Unnamed wetland #2 -669W. <br />
