LOWER RUM RIVER WATERSHED MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION <br />JUNE 21, 1989 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairman Jim Schrantz called the meeting to order at <br />8:36 a.m. in the Committee Room of Anoka City Hall. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Members present at roll call included Chairman Jim <br />Schrantz, Pete Raatikka, John Weaver, and Tom Mathisen. <br />Guests in attendance were: Consulting Engineer Dean <br />Skallman and Bruce Berghorst, Community Development Intern <br />for the City of Anoka. <br />MAY MINUTES <br />A motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Mathisen, to <br />approve the May 17, 1989, meeting minutes as printed. All <br />voted yes. Motion carried. <br />TREASURER'S REPORT <br />Board members received the Annual Audit Report for the <br />period January 31, 1989 and 1988. Weaver indicated that he <br />felt this body has correctly reached a plateau and held their <br />assets at that level, as was the objective, and are not <br />continuing to accumulate over and above that level. <br />A motion was made by Raatikka, seconded by Weaver, to <br />receive the Annual Audit Report as presented. All voted yes. <br />Motion carried. <br />Mathisen presented the Treasurer's Report for the period <br />ending May 31, 1989, showing a balance of $17,155.99. The <br />only activity occurring during the month was interest re- <br />ceived in the amount of $71.44. Mathisen received word from <br />Frank Frederick, Deputy Treasurer, that he has received the <br />first installment checks from a few of the member cities, but <br />none have yet been deposited. The next installments from <br />member cities are due August 1, 1989. <br />A motion was made by Raatikka, seconded by Weaver, to <br />approve the Treasurer's Report as presented. All voted yes. <br />Motion carried. <br />
