Members agreed to the LRRWMO immediately with Curt Pearson present, to he State Legislature relative The Recording Secretary reported the May 20, 1987, meeting minutes indicate the LRRWMO, by motion, agreed to pay $10.00 per month, retroactive to February 1, 1987, to the City of Anoka for the use of their facility. Upon further review by the city's Finance Director, it was found this charge was never made or paid. The Finance Director indicated that aside from the lower level Community Room, the city doesn't normally charge for meeting space. This is merely a housekeeping matter. Weaver pointed out the LRRWMO is trying to hold the costs down. Motion was made by Weaver, and unanimously seconded, that THE AGREEMENT TO PAY A MONTHLY $10.00 CHARGE TO THE CITY OF ANOKA FOR USE OF A MEETING ROOM BE RESCINDED. Motion carried. NEW BUSINESS Election of Officers for the New Fiscal Year Motion was made by Raatikka, seconded by Weaver, to RETAIN THE PRESENT STATUS OF OFFICERS WITHIN THE LRRWMO: CHAIRMAN, JIM SCHRANTZ; VICE- CHAIRMAN, PETE RAATIKKA; SECRETARY, JOHN WEAVER; AND TREASURER, TOM MATHISEN. 4 ayes - 0 nayes. ADJOURNMENT Motion carried. There being no further discussion, a motion was made, sec- onded, and unanimously carried, to ADJOURN.
