LRRWMO Meeting Minutes November 20, 1991 Page 5 Motion was made by Schrantz to PAY ALL EXCEPT FOR $200.00 OF THE JUNE 21, 1991, BILLING OF $1,690.60; REQUESTING FURTHER EXPLANATION OF THE ADMINISTRATIVE CHARGE FOR PREPARATION OF DETAILED BILLINGS DATED MAY 8 AND MAY 28, 1991. The motion died for lack of a second. Motion was made by Jankowski, seconded by Weaver, to AUTHORIZE PAYMENT OF THE FOLLOWING JUNE 21, 1991, BARR ENGINEERING EXPENSES: STUDIES, $169.00; MANAGEMENT PLAN, $65.00; LORD OF LIFE CHURCH PROJECT, $292.50; KOBS ADDITION PROJECT, $227.50; FOR A SUBTOTAL OF $754.00, PLUS FIFTY (50) PER CENT OF THE REMAINING BILL, EQUALLING $468.30; FOR A GRAND TOTAL PAYMENT TO BARR ENGINEERING OF $1,222.30. THE REMAINING $468.30 IS BEING WITHHELD AWAITING ADDITIONAL CLARIFICATION ON THE ADMINISTRATION AND MEETINGS PORTION OF THE BILL. 4 ayes - 0 nayes. Motion carried. CONSIDERATION OF COMMUNICATIONS The board noted the receipt of a November 12, 1991, News Release from the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency (MPCA) announcing the ground water cleanup at the Anoka Regional Landfill Superfund Site. Members acknowledged the receipt of the Environmental Assess- ment worksheet (EP_ *A) for the proposed St. Francis Wastewater Treatment Facility Improvements, received from Paul Schmiechen, MPCA. Jankowski directed a letter be written to Mr. Schmiechen querying whether the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is gathering information on this project. (See additional discussion further in the minutes.) The board acknowledged the receipt of a certificate of insurance from Barr Engineering. It was noted a conference on "Water Resources in the 90's" is scheduled for February 13 and 14, 1992, at the University of Minnesota. No one indicated a desire to attend at this time. The October issue of the Conservation Mentor was noted. PENDING PROJECTS /PERMIT REVIEWS City of Ramsey Second and T hird Quarter Reports Jankowski presented the quarterly reports for the City of Ramsey for the period January through September 1991.
