LRRWMO Meeting Minutes <br />October 16, 1991 <br />Page 8 <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Joint Powers Insurance <br />Schrantz and Weaver reported their respective City Councils <br />concurred the LRRWMO does need to be properly insured. <br />Members recalled from meeting with Conway Olson, T. C. Field <br />insurance representative, September 18, 1991, it was deter- <br />mined the bill for insurance coverage, should it become <br />effective October 17, 1991, would be billed February 1, 1992, <br />the beginning of the LRRWMO fiscal year, and cover a policy <br />effective October 17, 1991, through January 31, 1993. This <br />premium would come out of reserves. However, future premiums <br />will be part of the annual budget. <br />Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Jankowski, to APPROVE <br />THE EXPENDITURE OF $2,291.00 TO PROVIDE LIABILITY, ERRORS AND <br />OMISSIONS, AND AUTOMOBILE INSURANCE COVERAGE FROM NORTH STAR <br />RISK SERVICES, INC. WITH THE UNDERSTANDING THE LRRWMO WILL BE <br />PAYING PRO RATA PREMIUMS FROM OCTOBER 17, 1991, THROUGH <br />JANUARY 31, 1993. THE FULL AMOUNT OF THE PREMIUM WILL BE <br />PAYABLE FROM THE 1992 BUDGET. THE PREMIUM IS TO BE PAID WHEN <br />BILLED. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes. Motion carried. <br />LPRTAMO Boundary Revision <br />Erickson indicated he has talked with Tim Kelly, the Coon <br />Creek Watershed Administrator, regarding the proposed mutual <br />LRRWMO and Coon Creek boundary revision. It was reported <br />Coon Creek will not address this issue until the end of this <br />year or first of next year. The LRRWMO will have to do this <br />in conjunction with Coon Creek. Erickson indicated he will <br />stay in contact with that watershed with regard to this <br />issue. <br />Motion was made by Erickson, seconded by Weaver, to TABLE <br />THIS LRRTVTMO /COON CREEK BOUNDARY REVISION ISSUE UNTIL SUCH <br />TIME AS ERICKSON BRINGS BACK INFORMATION FROM COON CREEK THAT <br />THEY ARE PREPARED TO PROCEED. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes. Motion carried. <br />Metropolitan Public Ditch Inven Follow -Up <br />Jankowski reported he has attempted to contact Anoka County <br />to confirm whether or not it is submitting the inventory <br />information on the ditches.
