Motion carried.
PAYMENT OF BILLS
Weaver addressed the most recent billing from Barr Engineer-
ing in the amount of $1,307.17 for professional services
during the period December 29, 1991, through February 29,
1992. The Table 1 itemization attached to the bill indicates
nearly all of the bill was charged against Department of
Natural Resources permit reviews. Weaver stated, however,
the permit work portion of the bill should be broken down
further so the LRRWMO and its financial officer can identify
where we charge those fees.
Weaver expressed the added wish that municipalities not
direct unnecessary telephone calls to our Consulting
Engineer, for which this board must pay.
Schultz stated conversations municipalities feel necessary to
have with the Consulting Engineer about a specific project
should be charged against the project funds. Weaver
indicated then the Consulting Engineer must identify them
accordingly.
Jankowski indicated, upon review of this bill itemization, he
recalled the Consulting Engineer broke it down better in the
past. Schultz concurred, adding it has been the consensus of
the board that the Consulting Engineer was to be clearer on
these bills. He felt the majority of this bill was probably
due to the Ramsey project.
