LOWER RUM RIVER WATERSHED MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION <br />JANUARY 15, 1992 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairman Jim Schrantz called the meeting to order at 8:30 <br />a.m, in the Committee Room of Anoka City Hall. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Members present were Jim Schrantz, Scott Erickson, Steve <br />Jankowski, and Anoka Alternate Ray Schultz. Board member <br />John Weaver was absent. <br />CONSIDERATION OF THE MINUTES <br />Motion was made by Jankowski, seconded by Schultz, to APPROVE <br />THE DECEMBER 18, 1991, MEETING MINUTES AS PRINTED. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes. Motion carried. <br />TREASURER'S REPORT <br />Erickson presented a Treasurer's Report for the period ending <br />December 31, 1991, showing a money market checking account <br />balance of $10.00; interest bearing savings account balance <br />of $2,545.22; and a certificate of deposit account balance of <br />$6,000.00; for a total current balance of $8,555.22. <br />Erickson stated the certificate of deposit matures the end of <br />this month. In answer to Schrantz's query as to what happens <br />to the interest from the certificate of deposit account, <br />Erickson responded it is usually put into savings. <br />Motion was made by Schultz, seconded by Jankowski, to ACCEPT <br />THE TREASURER'S REPORT AS PRESENTED. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes. Motion carried. <br />Motion was made by Erickson, seconded by Schrantz, AUTHORIZ- <br />ING THE TREASURER AND /OR DEPUTY TREASURER TO ALLOW THE <br />CERTIFICATE OF DEPOSIT ACCOUNT TO ROLL OVER UNLESS THERE ARE <br />OUTSTANDING BILLS TO BE PAID WHICH WOULD REQUIRE THE USE OF <br />SOME OF THOSE FUNDS. <br />4 ayes - 0 nayes. Motion carried. <br />Mava Mikkonen, Administrative Secretary, informed the board <br />the City of Anoka recently approved a 2.5 per cent salary <br />increase for her Recording Secretary position with the city, <br />
