LRRWMO Meeting Minutes <br />December 17, 1992 <br />Page 7 <br />A December 15, 1992, memorandum from Coon Rapids Planner <br />Kevin Ringwald stating that city's position on the proposed <br />wetland rules was discussed. Schultz stated that, according <br />to this memorandum, the budget impact to implement these <br />rules will be $20,000 per Local Governmental Unit. <br />Jankowski suggested this board write a letter expressing the <br />same concerns as that of the City of Coon Rapids. The board <br />concurred. The Administrative Secretary was directed to <br />compile a letter to Allen Klein, Office of Administrative <br />Hearings, over the Chairman's signature, immediately <br />following this meeting. <br />Wetland Conservation Act Public Hearings <br />The board discussed the Minnesota Board of Water and Soil <br />Resources scheduled Wetland Conservation Act public hearings, <br />indicating they would see if any one could attend. <br />Other <br />A December 8, 1992, letter to Chairman Schrantz, from Robert <br />M. Hutchison, Director of Environmental Services, Anoka <br />County Human Services Division, was reviewed. Said letter <br />requested the board's assistance in the county's completion <br />of an assessment of groundwater protection needs for the <br />Anoka County Board of Commissioners by completing an attached <br />questionnaire. The board agreed to place this matter on the <br />January 1993 regular meeting agenda for further <br />consideration. <br />PENDING PROJECTS /PERMIT REVIEWS <br />Ramsey Meadows Update <br />Jankowski reported the Ramsey Meadows restoration project has <br />been completed. A brief summary of project details was <br />presented. <br />Additional Riverdale Development <br />It was noted that Ottensman was not present to discuss this <br />issue. Schultz indicated no permit application has been <br />submitted. This agenda item will be carried over to the <br />January meeting. <br />
