LRRWMO Meeting Minutes
October 21, 1993
Page 2
Motion by Weaver, seconded by Haas, to accept the Treasurer's Report for the period
ending September 30, 1993. Vote: 3 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried.
ADJUSTMENT TO 1994 BUDGET
Knutson recommended that the 1994 Budget be adjusted to decrease line items for legal,
insurance and newsletter expenses by $500 each, and to increase line items for professional
services (engineering and administrative secretarial) from $2,000 to $3,500. It was noted that
the budget 'bottom line" would remain the same.
Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Haas, to approve the revised 1994 Budget. Vote:
3 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried.
PAYMENT OF BILLS
The Commission reviewed bills from Barr Engineering in the amount of $1,173.50 for
professional services from August 1 to August 28, 1993 and from Timesaver Off Site
Secretarial in the amount of $302.43 for secretarial services for September, 1993.
Weaver pointed out that engineering bills to date total $10,300 which is about one-third of
the 1993 budget; a safe margin over what would be spent when one-half way through the
year.
Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Haas, to authorize payments to Barr Engineering
of $1,173.50 and Timesaver of $302.43, as presented. Vote: 3 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried.
CONSIDER COMMUNICATIONS
Review Contract with Administrative Secrets
The LRRWMO reviewed the proposed Administrative Secretary Service Agreement with
Timesaver Off Site Secretarial. The Administrative Secretary reported that the Agreement
was revised as recommended by the LRRWMO attorney, and copies were sent to Pearson
(LRRWMO attorney) as well as Knutson.
Jankowski questioned contract conditions regarding delegation. The Administrative
Secretary explained responsibilities can be delegated in accordance with the Agreement and
as outlined under Sections 1 and 8.
Motion by Weaver, seconded by Haas, to approve the revised Administrative Secretary
Service Agreement with Timesaver Off Site Secretarial as presented. Vote: 3 ayes, 0 nays.
Motion carried.
