LRRWMO Meeting Minutes
October 21, 1993
Page 7
permits for every platting development to Barr Engineering for their review and
recommendation.
Weaver pointed out that if permits are required for every subdivision and plat, the
LRRWMO may want a current state of activities report at each meeting.
Haas suggested that the permit not come back to the LRRWMO until the project is
complete. Then the LRRWMO can finalize the project and make the permit refund, if any.
He pointed out that with this procedure the LRRWMO will only deal with each project
twice.
Schultz concurred and added that only current projects would be included in the quarterly
reports. He suggested that permit fees be retained for any preliminary plats that are not
completed to the final plat stage.
Consensus was reached to place this item (requiring permits for every subdivision and plat)
on the November 18, 1993 meeting agenda.
PENDING PROJECTS/PERMIT REVIEWS
LRRWMO Application #93-9, Mark of Excellence Homes Update
Schultz reported that Mark Smith, Mark of Excellence Homes, has submitted plans for
temporary holding ponds for the Weston Woods on the River project. He added they have
redesigned the outfall for the main storm sewer as discussed and Beduhn has signed off on
the final design. Schultz stated he is also comfortable with the plans as submitted.
Motion by Haas, seconded by Jankowski, to approve the grading, drainage and water
quality management plan for Weston Woods on the River (Permit #93-9) as recommended
by Barr Engineering. tote: 3 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried.
LRRWMO Application #93-3, Anoka County Project CP 93-12-116
Jankowski noted Beduhn is recommending the LRRWMO accept the permit modification
as presented.
Schultz indicated support of the modified permit, however, he was not sure if they met the
1:1 mitigation requirement. Haas commented the LRRWMO will need to make sure the
mitigation requirement has been met. He suggested the County certify the project and then
Barr Engineering can make the final inspection.
Moved by Weaver, seconded by Haas, to accept the permit modification for Anoka County
Project CP93-12-116, LRRWMO Application #93-3 and request that they certify the
mitigation requirement.
