<br />LRRWMO Meeting Minutes <br />October 21, 1993 <br />Page 8 <br />LRRWMO Application #93-b, Nonvav Pine Builders. Inc. <br />It was noted that Norway Pine Builders have satisfied conditions of the permit and may <br />proceed with the work. No action was required. <br />This item will be removed from the agenda. <br />LRRWMO Application #93-8, Wood Pond Hills 3rd and 4th Addition <br />It was noted that WPH Properties was sent a letter requesting that they submit a written <br />request for modification of Wood Pond Hills 3rd and 4th Additions. <br />Because a response has not been received from WPH Properties, this item will be placed <br />on the November 8, 1993 agenda. <br />LRRWMO Application #93-10. Wicklund Construction. Inc. <br />Haas reviewed the wetland delineation plan submitted by Wicklund Construction, Inc. for <br />Indian Meadows. Jankowski pointed out Beduhn has indicated this plan is acceptable and <br />recommends approval subject to five conditions. Haas agreed that Beduhn should review <br />wetland delineations to verify it is correct. <br />The LRRWMO agreed that permits will not be placed on the agenda for discussion until <br />all conditions indicated by Beduhn have been complied with. Beduhn will also be notified <br />of this policy and in the future will direct his memo to the developer with copies to the <br />LRRWMO. <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Wetland Conservation Act and Related Costs <br />Haas questioned the first step regarding phase out of interim rules and asked how a zero <br />balance in the interim wetland banking account will be attained. He also commented on <br />approaching member cities regarding who will act as the LGU under the permanent rules. <br />Weaver recommended that each member city confirm their intention that the LRRWMO <br />will remain the LGU. Rather than having Barr Engineering involved in this process, he <br />suggested that each board member approach their own city. Jankowski and-Haas agreed. <br />The Commission next discussed the need to phase out the interim rules and establish a <br />permitting process and fees. <br />Jankowski questioned the pros and cons of having the individual cities become the LGU. <br />Haas commented that wetland decisions could become political.
