He pointed out that BWSR representatives <br />attended the last LRRWMO meeting and are aware of activities taking place. <br />Jankowski noted that county participation is required, so perhaps it should first be <br />determined whether Anoka County is participating. Haas concurred. <br />Motion was made by Haas, seconded by Ferguson, to direct Beduhn to contact Anoka <br />County to determine if they will participate in cost sharing of the Local Water Planning <br />Challenge Grant Program and if so to authorize Beduhn to prepare a grant application <br />using the following steps: <br />1. Contact County regarding memorandum of understanding for administration of cost <br />sharing. <br />2. Approve budget for Phases 1-4 of the planning process. <br />3. Approve application to BWSR far challenge grant money. <br />4. Prepare application, project workplan and submit grant application. <br />at a cost not to exceed $400 (from the Professional Services Budget), and to schedule a <br />special meeting for Wednesday, July 13, 3 p.m. to consider action on steps 2 and 3 (Phases <br />1-4 and the grant application. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. <br />Due to prior meeting commitments, Weaver was excused from the meeting at 2:04 p.m. <br />1995 Budget Process <br />Jankowski recommended the LRRWMO look at the budget process at the July meeting. <br />He stated he will ask Knutson to prepare some historical budget information and estimated <br />cash flow figures. <br />No action -tabled to July 21, 1994 meeting. <br />Permit Requirement Amendment <br />Jankowski pointed out that Beduhn is recommending the Permit Requirements form include <br />an item regarding work near DNR protected wetlands and the need to submit information <br />indicating the ordinary high water level and wetland boundary according to the WCA of <br />1991. <br />Haas reviewed that this matter came up due to the Larry Schalo permit. <br />Consensus was reached to approve the revised Permit Requirement form as recommended <br />by Beduhn, changing the word "should" in the first line to "shall". <br />
