LRRWMO Meeting Minutes
February 17, 1994
Page 2
Knutson reviewed a summary of permits and reported there is still one permit outstanding
from 1991 for Cobbs Addition in Andover.
Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Haas, to accept the Treasurer's Report for the
period ending January 31, 1994. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried.
PAYMENT OF BILLS
Knutson presented the following bills for January, 1994: City of Anoka in the amount of
$33.05, Timesaver Off Site Secretarial in the amount of $238.03 and Barr Engineering in
the amount of $666.76 (with 70-75% to permits).
Motion was made by Ferguson, seconded by Weaver, to authorize payment of $33.05 to the
City of Anoka, $238.03 to Timesaver Off Site Secretarial, and $666.76 to Barr Engineering
(with 70-75% for permit review and the rest for administrative costs). Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays.
Motion carried.
Jankowski reported he attended a workshop presented by Anoka County regarding record
keeping for grant reimbursement. He explained the County will be sending out forms and
the first timeperiod for quarterly reimbursement is through March 31, 1994. It was noted
the LRRWMO received approval of a $2,700 grant.
Knutson suggested he meet with Jankowski to determine what qualifies for reimbursement.
Jankowski pointed out his time at the workshop may also qualify for reimbursement, as well
as any time spent relating to wetland conservation issues.
Liability Insurance
Knutson reviewed the liability insurance bill from the League of Minnesota Municipalities
for $2,302 for the time period of February 1, 1994 to March 31, 1995. He explained the
Attorney was asked whether this type of insurance was needed since most members aze
already covered by their municipality, and the Attorney indicated the coverage was
necessary. It was noted that $3,000 is included in the 1994 budget for this insurance
coverage.
Weaver asked if the LRRWMO received a refund last year from the League. Knutson
responded that a $192 dividend refund was received in 1993 from the League based on their
insurance program.
Schultz asked if Barr Engineering is covered by this policy. Knutson stated he is not sure
but Barr Engineering has submitted their own certificate of insurance.
