Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. <br />CONSIDER COMMUNICATIONS <br />Review Correspondence in Chair's Folder <br />the JPA as revised and <br />review and approval by <br />Jankowski reviewed the correspondence contained in the Chair's Folder. He explained all <br />of the correspondence was informational and did not require LRRWMO action. <br />REPORT OF OFFICERS <br />Fourth Quarter 1993 Reports -Andover. Anoka. Coon Rapids. Ramsey <br />Not available; placed on March agenda. <br />PENDING PROJECTS/PERMIT REVIEWS <br />LRRWMO Application #93-12 -Review of Peninsula Parkll'wo Rivers Historical Park <br />Jankowski commented that at the last meeting, this application was reviewed and the need <br />to meet WMO requirements for sedimentation was reviewed. <br />Ross Abel, Hakanson Anderson, reviewed the revised drainage plan showing the parking ]ot <br />and drainage areas. He recommended they not have curb cuts but allow water to be <br />diverted through a small gutter. He explained they can get sufficient storage volumes to <br />accommodate sedimentation storage as established by Barr Engineering. Abel stated they <br />used the storm criteria of a two year-one hour rainfall event. Skunmers will be set up using <br />readily available material for anover/under baffle weir construction. Abel then reviewed the <br />plan in detail with the LRRWMO, pointing out the location of proposed landscaping with <br />vegetation, swale location, elevations, etc. <br />Jankowski asked how the ponding area will be created. Abel reviewed the existing elevations <br />and how they will create a ponding area with the pathway. <br />Haas questioned the location of the silt fence. Jankowski explained there is some existing <br />silt fence but the LRRWMO had asked that it be included in the plan. Abel agreed to do <br />so. <br />Abel stated he would fax the calculations to Bob Beduhn. He explained they looked at a <br />reverse grade culvert but found it would be too high, above the pathway, and not <br />aesthetically pleasing. <br />
