s <br />LOWER RUM RIVER WATERSHED MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION <br />JULY 20, 1995 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chairman Steve Jankowski called the meeting to order at 8:36 a.m. in the Committee Room <br />of Anoka City Hall. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Voting members present were Steve Jankowski, Ramsey; Ben Ferguson, Coon Rapids; Todd <br />Haas, Andover; and John Weaver, Anoka. <br />Also present was Ray Schultz, Anoka Alternate; Bruce Perry, Andover Alternate; Jim <br />Knutson, Deputy Treasurer; Mark Lobermeier, SEH Consultant; Brad Scheib, Anoka <br />Planning Department Intern; Greydon Boeck and Steve Juetten, Jemstar; and Kevin Kielb, <br />Hakanson Anderson, Assoc., Inc. <br />CONSIDERATION OF THE MINUTES <br />Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Ferguson, to approve the June 15, 1995, regular <br />meeting minutes, with the notation the Administrative Secretary will call Hakanson <br />Anderson to determine the name of engineer representing Central Power Distributors, Inc. <br />(Page 10). Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. <br />TREASURER'S REPORT <br />Knutson presented the Treasurer's Report for the period ending June 30, 1995. Account <br />balances for the period were: Checking, $39,762.00; less permit account balance of <br />($6,043.20), for a total available balance of $33,718.80. <br />Knutson pointed out the need for additional escrow funds from Indian Meadows 4th <br />Addition in Andover which is currently short $498.70. He recommended they be asked for <br />an additional $1,000 to cover this overage plus anticipated engineering costs. <br />Haas stated he will make the request. Jankowski noted this project involves considerable <br />wetland mitigation. <br />Motion was made by Ferguson, seconded by Weaver, to accept the Treasurer's Report for <br />the period ending June 30, 1995. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. <br />1996 Budget Recommendations <br />Knutson reviewed the draft 1996 budget recommendations and noted the member city <br />assessments have been reduced to pre-Plan update levels (1992).
