s LOWER RUM RIVER WATERSHED MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION JULY 20, 1995 CALL TO ORDER Chairman Steve Jankowski called the meeting to order at 8:36 a.m. in the Committee Room of Anoka City Hall. ROLL CALL Voting members present were Steve Jankowski, Ramsey; Ben Ferguson, Coon Rapids; Todd Haas, Andover; and John Weaver, Anoka. Also present was Ray Schultz, Anoka Alternate; Bruce Perry, Andover Alternate; Jim Knutson, Deputy Treasurer; Mark Lobermeier, SEH Consultant; Brad Scheib, Anoka Planning Department Intern; Greydon Boeck and Steve Juetten, Jemstar; and Kevin Kielb, Hakanson Anderson, Assoc., Inc. CONSIDERATION OF THE MINUTES Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Ferguson, to approve the June 15, 1995, regular meeting minutes, with the notation the Administrative Secretary will call Hakanson Anderson to determine the name of engineer representing Central Power Distributors, Inc. (Page 10). Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. TREASURER'S REPORT Knutson presented the Treasurer's Report for the period ending June 30, 1995. Account balances for the period were: Checking, $39,762.00; less permit account balance of ($6,043.20), for a total available balance of $33,718.80. Knutson pointed out the need for additional escrow funds from Indian Meadows 4th Addition in Andover which is currently short $498.70. He recommended they be asked for an additional $1,000 to cover this overage plus anticipated engineering costs. Haas stated he will make the request. Jankowski noted this project involves considerable wetland mitigation. Motion was made by Ferguson, seconded by Weaver, to accept the Treasurer's Report for the period ending June 30, 1995. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. 1996 Budget Recommendations Knutson reviewed the draft 1996 budget recommendations and noted the member city assessments have been reduced to pre-Plan update levels (1992).
