• LRRWMO Meeting Minutes <br />September 19, 1996 <br />Page 5 <br />OLD BUSINESS <br />Review Newsletter Article -Jankowski <br />Jankowski suggested an educational article about ponds with, perhaps, aquestion/answer format; or <br />an article explaining changes in the WCA and how if affects property owners. <br />Not available; tabled to October 17, 1996 meeting agenda. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />LRRWMO Permit #96 09 LAND Properties - Ramsev <br />The LRRWMO reviewed the September 18, 1996 memorandum from Bazr Engineering regazding <br />LRRWMO Permit #96-09 for L.A.N.D. Properties to construct a 13,608 square foot retail center <br />with potential expansion of 13,608 square feet additional retail and his recommendation to table until <br />• the developer submits requested information regazding the design of a water quality basin on the site. <br />It was noted that currently, the plans submitted indicate that the on-site basin is to be for detention <br />purposes, quality control, only. <br />Motion by Weaver, seconded by Ferguson, to table consideration of LRRWMO Permit #96-09 <br />submitted by L.A.N.D. Properties, Inc., as recommended by Barr Engineering. Vote: 4ayes - <br />0 nays. Motion carried. <br />LRRWMO Permit #96 11 Hennepin Co-Op Ampride - Rams <br />The LRRWMO reviewed the September 18, 1996 memorandum from Bazr Engineering regazding <br />his review of LRRWMO Permit #96-11 from Metropolitan Visions to construct a convenience store <br />at the intersection of Sunfish Boulevard and T.H. 10 for Hennepin Co-Op Ampride. <br />Jankowski advised all site drainage will flow to a sedimentation pond, overflow to the County Ditch <br />and then to a catch basin which drains to the ivfississippi River. He explained that one question raised <br />by Obermeyer dealt with the size of the sedimentation pond, which is addressed in Obermeyer's <br />suggested conditions. <br />Motion by Haas, seconded by Ferguson, to approve LRRWMO Permit #96-11, Hennepin Co- <br />Op Ampride, to construct a retail gas/convenience store at 6346 and 6360 Highway 10 NW in <br />Ramsey, conditioned on: <br />• 1. Erosion control, either silt fence or staked haybales reinforced with snow fence, must <br />be installed encircling the project site. <br />2. The water quality basin must be constructed at the initial stages of construction and <br />be functional during the site grading portion of the project <br />
