• LOWER RUM RIVER WATERSHED MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION <br />JULY 17, 1997 <br />CALL TO ORDER <br />Chair Jankowski called the meeting to order at 8:45 a.m. in the Committee Room of Anoka City Hall. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Voting members present were Steve Jankowski, Ramsey; Bruce Perry, Andover Alternate; Bill <br />Ottensmann, Coon Rapids Alternate; and John Weaver, Anoka. <br />Also present were Jim Knutson, Deputy Treasurer. <br />APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES <br />Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Perry, to approve the June 19, 1997 regular <br />meeting minutes as presented. Vote: 3 ayes, 0 nays, i present (Ottensmann). Motion carried. <br />FINANCE MATTERS <br />• Treasurer's Report <br />Knutson presented the Treasurer's Statement of Cash Receipts and Disbursements and the Treasurer's <br />Report for the period ending June 30, 1997. Account balances for the period were: Checking, <br />$63,865.32; less permit account balance of ($9,464.48), for a total balance of $54,400.84. <br />Knutson noted LRRWMO Pemrit #96-15, Timber River Estates, which has a negative balance. Haas <br />will be asked to request additional dollazs. <br />Motion was made by Ottensmann, seconded by Weaver, to accept the Treasurer's Report for <br />the period ending June 30, 1997. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion tamed. <br />Payment of Bills <br />Jankowski presented the payment of bills for Timesaver for $220.20, Barr Engineering for $286.39 <br />(approximately $25.00 administrative), and SEH for $1,000.00 (retainage). <br />Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Perry, to authorize payment to Timesaver for <br />$202.20 and Barr Engineering for $286.39. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. <br />• 1998 Budset <br />Knutson reviewed the budget analysis for 1998 and requested input from members. He explained this <br />report identifies actual costs for previous years and indicates reserves are adequate for operations. <br />Knutson asked which Plan implementation items will need to be included for the next few yeazs, some <br />ofwhich could come from reserves. He noted the estimated deficit anticipated in 1997 of $7,700 and <br />the request of the Administrative .Secretary fora 3% increase. (Later in the meeting, the <br />
