In turn, the <br />ACD is asking the LGUs to provide this information to them. However, the ACD will be <br />approaching the legislators to ask if this can be handled in another way. Informational; no action <br />required <br />DNR Contacts for Wetland Conservation Act Documents <br />Jankowski reported he has been informed by the DNR that even though there are wetlands outside <br />their jurisdiction, they need to be informed of action with regazd to those wetlands. He requested that <br />two DNR staff members be included in the list. of those notified of permit requests and actions that ,._ .. _ _ __ <br />effect wetland mitigation. <br />The LRRWMO directed the Administrative Secretary to send meeting packets to Kathleen <br />• Wallace, DNR Regional Administrator, and Doug Norris, DNR Wetlands Program <br />Coordinator. <br />PCA Draft General National Pollutant Dischu~e Elimination Svstem (NPDESI Permit <br />Jankowski reviewed the November 10,1 997 letter from the MPCA regazding their development of <br />a general NPDES7SDS`permit authorizing discliarges-from municipal wastewater stabilization pond - °-- °- <br />facilities. Informational; no comment. <br />Met Council Citizen-Assisted Lake Monitoring Pronram <br />Jankowski reviewed the November 21, 19971etter from the Metropolitan Council regarding their <br />citizen-assisted lake monitoring program involving 601akes, 11 sponsor watersheds, four sponsor <br />cities, and two sponsor counties. The cost to the LRRWMO is $860 per lake site per summer and <br />includes equipment, lab analyses, and a copy of the data and a report. <br />Consensus was reached to not participate in this program since the LRRWMO already <br />participates in the ACD lake monitoring program. <br />Rivers Council of Minnesota Survev <br />Jankowski reviewed the request of the Rivers Council of Minnesota to complete a survey regazding <br />stream monitoring. <br />Consensus was reached that Ferguson will complete the survey and indicate the LRRWMO <br />is not interested in participating. <br />
