• LRRWMO Meeting Minutes <br />December 18, 1997 <br />Page 6 <br />REPORT OF OFFICERS <br />1997 Second Quarter -Coon Raoids <br />Coon Rapids 1997 Second Quarter Report not available; placed on January 15, 1998 meeting <br />agenda. <br />1997 Third Quarter Anoka Coon Raoids Ramsev <br />Schultz reviewed the 1997 Third Quarter report for the City of Anoka. <br />Motion was made by Haas, seconded by Ferguson, to accept the 1997 Third Quarter Report <br />for the City of Anoka. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried... - - - - - --- <br />Coon Rapids and Ramsey 1997 Third Quarter Report not available; placed on January 15, <br />1998 meeting agenda. <br />• OLD BUSINESS <br />Review Newsletter Article -Jankowski <br />Jankowski distributed a newsletter article on the Wetland Conservation Act and noted how it can be <br />_ _~~..~ _ --_....n... _ _ <br />personalized for use by each member City <br />The LRRWMO reviewed the article and the Administrative Secretary asked that each member <br />City provide her with a copy of the newsletter, once the article is published, so it can be <br />included in the Annual Report. <br />Haas agreed to write the next newsletter. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />LRRWMO Permit #97 10 -Anoka County Regional Park -Revision <br />Jankowski reviewed the memorandum dated December 17, 1997 from Bob Obermeyer, Ban <br />Engineering. <br />Nick Eolofi; Anoka County Pazk Department, reviewed the anticipated improvements to the Anoka <br />County Regional Park and reported they did received $1.2 million from the State of Minnesota for <br />park improvements. He explained that they decided to relocate a trail which resulted in the need t0 <br />mitigate wetlands. Eoloff stated they will do a 4:1 replacement which is beyond the 2:1 requirement. <br />The contractor did the rough grading of the roads and parking lots and, if approved, will complete <br />finished grading and the park will be opened by mid-July of 1998. <br />
