LOWER RUM RIVER WATERSHED MANAGEMENT ORGANIZATION APRII.17, 1997 CALL TO ORDER Chair Jankowski called the meeting to order at 8:43 a.m. in the Committee Room of Anoka City Hall. ROLL CALL Voting members present were Steve Jankowski, Ramsey; Todd Haas, Andover; Ben Ferguson, Coon Rapids; and John Weaver, Anoka. Also present were Ray Schultz, Anoka Alternate; Jim Knutson, Deputy Treasurer; Bob Obermeyer, Ban Engineering; and Mazk Lobermeier, SEH. APPROVAL OF THE MINLJ'fES Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Ferguson, to approve the March 20, 1997 regular meeting minutes as presented. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. • FINANCE MATTERS Treasurer's Report Knutson presented the Treasurer's Statement of Cash Receipts and Disbursements and the Treasurer's Report for the period ending March 31, 1997. Account balances for the period were: Checking, $64,000.44; less permit account balance of ($7,324.47), for a total balance of $56,675.97. Motion was made by Ferguson, seconded by Haas, to accept the Treasurer's Report for the period ending March 31, 1997. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried. Payment of Bills Knutson presented the payment of bills for Timesaver for $227.58, SEH for $1,000.00 (retainage), Barr Engineering for $896.18, ($386.18 for administrative for annual report permit review) and Kennedy & Graven (January-March, 1997) for $110.56. Knutson explained that in the past the annual report permit review, which is required for submittai with the annual report, has been billed back to the open permits. He noted the $110.56 from Kennedy & Graven for meeting packet review is a departure from their past billing practices when they invoiced once per year for $400 to $500. • Motion was made by Weaver, seconded by Haas, to authorize payment to Timesaver for $227.58, Barr Engineering for $896.18, and Kennedy & Graven for $110.56. Vote: 4 ayes, 0 nays. Motion carried.
