Mr. Jack Ippel - 5 - December 13, 1983
After submittal of the draft AMP to the FAA and MN/DOT, there may be a three to
four (3-4) month period for review time by these agencies concluding with a
final public hearing before final adoption of the approved AMP.
Upon completion of Phase I, the Zoning Phase would take three to four (3-4)
months time ending in a public hearing and ordinance adoption by the City of
Ramsey City Council.
In total, the work task presented herein could take from twelve to sixteen
(12-16) months for completion.
Should, at any one point, by mutual agreement, the City and the Minnesota
Department of Transportation wish to terminate the study, they may do so as
will be outlined in the agreement.
Ralph Burke Associates has been enlisted to help us in putting this proposal
together. The Burke firm is an Airport Planner with an office located in New
Hope, Minnesota. Should this proposal be funded, the Burke firm would perform
approximately 50% of the dollar value of the project.
The expertise available through the Burke firm will aid in meeting the
requirements of the Airport Master Plan and Report in such areas as fore-
casting, facility requirements and general planning.
Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc, will be lead consultant with Mr. Larry
Koshak serving as project manager and Merland J. Otto of Ralph Burke Associates
as Associate Project Manager.
An agreement for this specific project will be drawn between the City and
Hakanson Anderson Associates, Inc. and approved by Minnesota Department of
Transportation should the project be authorized and funded.
We will present the above proposal to yourself and members of the commission at
the next meeting on December 14, 1983.
Yours truly,
CC: Peter Raatikka, City Engineer
Lloyd Schnelle, City Administrator
Merland Otto, Ralph Burke Associates
File: RA10:01-1
HAKANSON ANDERSON ASSOCIATES, INC.
