Development of additional <br />on-airport storage facilities for aircraft will be necessary <br />to meet long-term demand. <br />In accordance with recommendations contained in <br />the airport's interim comprehensive development plan, <br />Runway 9R/27L, which is currently 3,909 feet long, <br />should be widened to 100 feet and lengthened to 5,000 <br />feet. While Flying Cloud will maintain its minor airport <br />classification, the ,longer runway would enable this <br />airport to more adequately fulfill its reliever role. As <br />part of the airport's planning efforts, the feasibility of <br />providing an additional precision approach should be considered.
