The grant offer incorporates the approved project application <br />into the proposed grant agreement and provides for the inclusion of any <br />special conditions beyond the conditions contained on the standard form whict <br />may be necessary for the accomplishment of the project. Normally, the FAA <br />field office sends an original and two copies of the grant offer to the <br />sponsor. If the sponsor needs more than one copy (i.e. for cosponsors or <br />state funding agencies), the FAA field office should be advised. Part II of <br />the grant agreement form provides for acceptance of the FAA's grant offer by <br />the sponsors. The statements provided with Part II are also self-explanatory. <br />By signing the grant agreement form, the sponsor accepts the grant offer <br />including all statements, representations, warranties, covenants, and <br />agreements which are contained in the approved application and in the grant <br />offer. The sponsor's attorney is also required to sign a statement on the <br />grant agreement form that the sponsor's acceptance of the grant is <br />authorized by appropriate laws and that the agreement constitutes a legal <br />and binding obligation of the sponsor in accordance with the terms of the <br />grant. The sponsor should also include copies of a resolution authorizing <br />acceptance of the grant offer. The original and one copy of the executed <br />grant agreement should be returned to the FAA field office.
