Each vehicle during service operation shall be supplied by the Contractor with current route schedules for passenger use. V. CONTRACTOR PROVIDED FACILITIES AND EQUIPMENT 5.01 Facilities and Equipment. Except for the fare collection equipment as described in section 2.04, the Contractor shall provide all facilities and equipment necessary to deliver service levels in the Service Plan including, without limitation: · facilities for vehicle maintenance; · facilities for vehicle storage; · facilities for dispatching, driver and other field staff daily assignments; · facilities for pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspection and reporting activities; · facsimile (fax) machines; and · sufficient telephone service to meet Contractor's business needs in operating the transit service including dedicated voice, TTY, and fax lines. The facilities shall be ,large enough to conduct driver recruitment activities and provide driver training. The facilities for storing vehicles must permit the entire fleet to be stored inside. All furnishings, all non-computer equipment and all supplies in connection with the facilities are the responsibility of the Contractor. If any damage occurs to the facilities or equipment, the Contractor shall replace the damaged item(s) with comparable or better levels of facilities or equipment. The Contractor's facilities must comply with all state, federal, and local safety requirements and laws. The Contractor's facilities must also comply with all accessibility features as described in Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990 and state uniform building codes. 5.02 Communication Radio System. The Contractor is responsible for providing the communication radio system used in providing transit services under the agreement and having the necessary maintenance and repairs on the system done in a timely manner. The Contractor is responsible for installing the Contractor's radio communication system in all vehicles. 12
