<br />5.03 Maintenance Facility Requirements. The Contractor's maintenance facility must <br />be capable of properly maintaining the fleet of three vehicles for the service to be provided under <br />this agreement. The facility must meet all federal, state and local guidelines for safety including, <br />without limitation, fire codes, building codes, OSHA requirements, and all EP A, Minnesota <br />Pollution Control Agency, and local environmental regulations. The maintenance facility shall <br />contain, at a minimum, the following elements: <br /> <br />· a heated service bay capable of storing and maintaining the MCI coaches listed in this <br />RFP <br />· an oil-water separator for all shop drains; <br />· proper storage and disposal facilities for used oil and waste products such as filters; <br />· office space for maintaining vehicle records; <br />· an operable vehicle lift appropriate for under-vehicle service; and <br />· a secure storage area for parts and consumable products. <br /> <br />All fluids and lubricants used by the Contractor shall meet or exceed manufacturer's <br />specifications. <br /> <br />VI. SERVICE DOCUMENTATION, AUDIT AND DATA PRACTICES <br /> <br />6.01 National Transit Database Reporting Requirements. In order to maintain its <br />status as an eligible recipient of federal transit funding, the City and its contractors providing <br />transit service must report certain data and operating statistics to the National Transit Database. <br />Accordingly, the reporting requirements of the National Transit Database are incorporated in the <br />agreement by this reference. Using forms approved by the City, the Contractor must report <br />calendar monthly to the City in compliance with the National Transit Database line item <br />reporting requirements, and must submit calendar year-end reporting statistics no later than <br />March 1 of the succeeding calendar year. The Contractor must provide the City with access, <br />during reasonable business hours, to any source documents needed to meet the National Transit <br />Database reporting requirements. This includes driver manifests or trip sheets, vehicle <br />maintenance records, agreement budget information, customer complaints, incident reports, and <br />aggregated drug and alcohol test results. <br /> <br />6.02 Operational Records. The Contractor agrees to maintain operational records <br />documenting the performance of the transit services provided under the agreement consistent <br />with Federal Transit Administration National Transit Database reporting requirements. Records <br />to be maintained by the Contractor include, without limitation, the following information. <br /> <br />1. Daily totals of the following operating data itemized separately for each route and trip <br />and vehicle: <br /> <br />· the NTD Revenue Hours provided, <br />· the In-Service Hours provided, <br />· the number of revenue miles operated, <br />· the number of passengers carried, classified by fare categories, <br /> <br />13 <br />
