<br />· the amount of Operating Revenue collected, and <br />· any other items requested by the City. <br /> <br />2. Documentation of: <br /> <br />· major operational problems, <br />· significant variations in ridership, Operating Revenues, and expenses, and <br />· Customer complaints and commendations, <br /> <br />along with descriptions of actions taken with respect to such items. The Contractor must <br />handle all operational revenue and expenses accurately and consistent with generally <br />accepted accounting principles. <br /> <br />The Contractor shall prepare a summary report, on a calendar monthly basis, of the operational <br />data specified in this section. The report shall be submitted along with each monthly payment <br />request under section 7.03. <br /> <br />6.03 Invoice Documentation. The invoice documentation for each monthly payment <br />request under section 7.03 must include the following operating statistics and information for the <br />calendar month in question: <br /> <br />· the Total Service Cost (as defined in section 7.01) for the period including credits for <br />Total and Partial Missed Trips and Operating Revenue; <br />· Operating Revenue during the period; <br />· Reconciliation of reported passenger fares with reported NTD Revenue Hours and an <br />explanation of any discrepancy; and <br />· the Contractor's calculation of the amount owed by the City to the Contractor for the <br />period. <br /> <br />6.04 Establishment and Maintenance of Information. The Contractor agrees to <br />establish and maintain accurate, detailed, and complete separate books, accounts, financial <br />records, documentation, and other evidence pertaining to: i) the transit services provided under <br />the agreement, and ii) the receipt and expenditure of all funds received under the agreement. The <br />Contractor shall establish and maintain all such information in accordance with generally <br />accepted accounting principles and practices and shall retain intact all such information until the <br />latest of: <br /> <br />a. complete performance of the agreement; or <br />b. six (6) years following the end of the term of the agreement; or <br />c. if any litigation, claim, or audit is commenced during either such period, when all <br />such litigation, claims or audits have been resolved. <br /> <br />If the Contractor engages any subcontractors to perform any part of the transit services under the <br />agreement, the Contractor agrees that the contract for such services shall include provisions <br />requiring the subcontractor to establish and maintain information in accordance with the <br /> <br />14 <br />
