h) Passenger Door i) The passenger front door will provide a minimum of 27" X 82" clear opening. The door will be driver controlled. The door will have an interlock feature that will prevent the door from opening when the vehicle is in gear. ii) The door will be free of wind noise and leaks and will remain tightly closed when traveling at highway speeds. i) Side Windows i) All windows must meet state and federal safety regulations. ii) All windows will be up to 30% grey-tinted density. iv) A minimum of three windows on each side will be designed to meet FMVSS 217 for emergency egress. Emergency egress windows will be hinged outward from the top. j) Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning i) Duct work for air-conditioning may be located in the baseboard or in the overhead parcel bin. ii) Heating will be baseboard heat and will be able to maintain the temperature in the passenger compartment between 65 and 75 degrees Fahrenheit with a relative humidity of 50% or less with outside ambient air temperatures from 0 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. In temperatures below 0 degrees Fahrenheit, the system will provide a minimum heat of 65 degrees Fahrenheit. iii) Aircraft style ventilating nozzles will be located over each seat in the parcel bin and are adjustable by the seated passenger. o v) Air-conditioning will be able to maintain the temperature in the passenger compartment between 65 and 75 degrees Fahrenheit with a relative humidity of 50% or less with outside ambient air temperatures from 0 to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. In temperatures above 100 degrees Fahrenheit, the air-conditioning will provide a minimum of 25 degrees of cooling. k) Wheelchair Accessibility System All vehicles used to provide services for the Project shall be lift- equipped to provide accessibility for persons with disabilities.
