Additionally, there would be an upfront cost to implement the permit, as Staff would suggest an outreach <br />plan to businesses to inform of the re-instituted temporary sign permits. This outreach would include <br />articles in the Ramsey Resident and direct mailings to the Ramsey Business List. Finally, City Staff <br />recommends allowing one (1) permanent ground sign per road frontage (maximum aggregate of two [2]) <br />instead of one (1) per parcel as currently permitted. Staff would recommend the second sign being half <br />the size of the first sign. <br />Funding Source: <br />Amendments to the temporary sign regulations are be handled as part of regular staff duties. <br />Recommendation: <br />The Planning Commission met to hold a Public Hearing on June 3, 2010 on the proposed ordinance and <br />recommended approval.
