MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING <br />ANOKA COUNTY AND CITY OF RAMSEY <br />LAND-USE DESIGNATION OF POTENTIAL IN-HOLDING AT RUM RNER CENTRAL <br />REGIONAL PARK <br />This Memorandum of Understanding is made and entered into by and between Anoka County, hereinafter <br />refen•ed to as the "County" and the City of Ramsey hereinafter referred to as the "City." <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, Anoka County has operated and maintained <br />(the "Park") since 1973; and <br />WHEREAS, the Park is located in the City; and <br />WHEREAS, in 2006, the County adopted <br />Comprehensive Park and Trail System Plan the ": <br />to <br />River Central Regional Park <br />Council a <br />and <br />the future <br />to the Park of <br />the _ boundary for the Park iu the <br />Plant aster Plan" , at such time is <br />an in- ap rcel for planned acquisition <br />and <br />Plan to the Metropolitan <br />that the City identify the future potential in- <br />ofensuring congruence between the <br />and <br />sire to maintain the current zoning vid laud use <br />he omprehensive Plan of the parcel as "fesidentialRural <br />Plan for the Park is officially amended through a public <br />NOW THEREFORE, IT I TENT OF THE COUNTY AND THE CITY TO ENTER INTO <br />THIS MEMORANDUM OF DERSTANDING TO ADDRESS THE CONCERNS OF THE CITY <br />AND THE METROPOLITAN COUNCIL AND THAT BOTH PARTIES ACKNOWLEDGE THAT <br />THIS MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING (MOU) IS ONLY A STATEMENT OF <br />COOPERATION: <br />1. The County will maintain the current language in the 2006 Park Plan *~ Cc:::;.:c,",c..,,;.,, P..~Qa <br />~°k~.,-which states that a re-alignment of the park boundary in the Master Plan to <br />include the Ssubject Pparcel would enable acquisition of that parcel. <br />
