· QDP & JBT Alliance - Project is complete, on-going compliance to be completed for city subsidy.
· Tag Machine -Job creation reports due annually until the goal is reached for MBAF.
· Sophia Ramsey Project - Business subsidy reporting need to occur annually until goals are
reached for MBAF Forms.
· Hwy 10 COR Signage. This issue has been in on-going discussion with both the EDA and the
HRA. Coordination effort will be required to get signage in place and coordinate potential
advertisers on the signage.
· Waltek- Business retention and potential expansion opportunity; significant employer in the
community.
. Martin EDM -Expansion and retention opportunity.
· Follow-up on inquiries. On a weekly basis, an average of five (5) inquiries are received
regarding potential industrial or commercial projects in Ramsey (outside of the COR). These
inquiries require a significant amount of follow-up and chasing to realize these tax-base growth
opportunities. If we don't chase them, another city will, and we lose the opportunity to expand
job, tax base, and commerce in the community. Many ofthe businesses that exist here today
are the result of the concerted effort of the city to bring projects to town.

BUSINESS RETENTION AND RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT:

· Business Retention - Coordinate appointments to meet and greet businesses on a regular basis.
This is critical during these economic times. The main goal is to understand their business, how
the city can help or get out of the way. It is critical to stay in touch with our local businesses
during this time to indentify assistance that can keep them in business, identify opportunities to
partner or collaborate, provide good analysis for business expansion. If we aren't in touch with
our industry, neighboring cities will be, to relocate them to their business parks.

PROPERTY MANAGEMENT:

. Property management/marketing- As of March 1, 2010 the City took over the property
management responsibilities for 6701 Hwy 10. This requires periodic check-ins to make sure the
tenants are not having any issues and inspect the building from time to time
. Community Revitalization - Sign is up on 5195 (Former Amoco site Hwy 47 & 142nd Street), nee
to follow-up on these inquiries. We currently have five (5) parcels for sale for
industrial/commercial users, inquiries need to be followed-up on and chased.

The COR:

. Defining SUbsidies and what projects are truly catalysts. Combination of our current Business
Subsidy policy and other criteria as established by the Development Management Team.
. Current COR projects that require financial and TIF analysis
o Sands Company
o Flaherty and Collins
o Goldstar
