Motion by Councilmember Elvig, seconded by Councilmember Dehen, to deny introduction of <br />the ordinance to Amend Article 14 (Rental Residential Dwelling Units) of Chapter 26 of the <br />Ramsey City Code. <br />Further discussion: Councilmember Wise recommended introducing the ordinance and fixing it <br />later. Mayor Ramsey stated he did not want to deny this and he wanted to move forward with <br />something. <br />Motion by Mayor Ramsey, seconded by Councilmember Elvig to postpone Introduction of the <br />Ordinance to Amend Article 14 (Rental Residential Dwelling Units) of Chapter 26 of the <br />Ramsey City Code. <br />Further discussion: Mayor Ramsey requested all Councilmembers come prepared with their <br />questions for the next Council worksession. <br />Motion failed. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Elvig and Wise. Voting No: <br />Councilmember Dehen, Look, and McGlone. Councilmember Jeffrey. <br />Motion by Councilmember Look, seconded by Councilmember Wise, to Introduce the Ordinance <br />to Amend Article Fourteen (Rental Residential Dwelling Units) of Chapter Twenty Six of City <br />Code; Case of City of Ramsey. <br />Further discussion: Councilmember McGlone stated he wanted to exclude all single-family <br />homes and wanted the discussion as to the definition of single-family homes at a future Council <br />worksession. <br />Motion carried. Voting Yes: Mayor Ramsey, Councilmembers Look, and Wise. Voting No: <br />Councilmember Dehen and Elvig. Councilmember Jeffrey. <br />7.03: Introduce Ordinance for Sale of City Owned Property in River's Bend Plaza 3`a <br />Addition <br />City Attorney Goodrich reviewed his report. <br />Councilmember Dehen asked the ramifications of denying the Ordinance <br />City Attorney Goodrich summarized what could happen, including Court action brought against <br />the City. He noted the sale could not be denied because the City anticipated some use. <br />Motion by Mayor Ramsey, seconded by Councilmember Elvig, to introduce the Ordinance <br />authorizing the sale of the property legally described in Attachment A of the Ordinance, and <br />which real. property is being platted as Outlot B, River's Bend Sa' Addition, Anoka County, <br />Minnesota. <br />City Council /August 24, 2010 <br />Page 9 of 13 <br />
