2. LSA will prepare floor plans and building elevations incorporating the changes to <br />the parking facility, along with an updated estimated construction cost for Design <br />Development (DD) approval. <br />3. Upon approval of DDs, LSA will complete final documents and specification for <br />the revisions. <br />4. LSA will submit revised construction documents to MnDOT Federal Aid office for <br />their review and approval. <br />5. LSA will attend up to five (5) client and MnDOT meetings to present design <br />development and final design documents, and to coordinate MnDOT submittals <br />and approvals. *led cc c' <br />Task II Fee: $1: ' 10 plus normal reimbursable expenses <br />Schedule: 0 to 12 weeks <br />Assumptions for determining proposed fee: <br />- No significant modifications to the existing parking facility (other than minor <br />demolition). <br />No significant changes to the Grid spacing or the facade of the expansion. <br />No significant changes to the mechanical and fire protection systems. <br />Task III — DCP Documentation and Bidding <br />1. LSA will Initiate and Manage DCP Process on Behalf of the City. LSA will <br />process all necessary paperwork with MnDOT Federal Aid office to comply with <br />the most current Delegated Contracting Process including processing Federal <br />Aid. This will include the preparation of a Final Construction Cost Estimate as <br />part of the DCP submittal process. <br />2. LSA will initiate a meeting with MnDOT to review and determine the federal aid <br />requirements for Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Independent <br />Assurance necessary for the project. LSA will then prepare a Request for <br />Proposals for Engineering and Testing companies to complete testing and <br />materials certification and Special Inspections as required by MnDOT Schedule <br />of Materials Control as well as IBC. <br />3. LSA will initiate Bidding procedures, request MnDOT final authorization to <br />advertise the project for bids, including request for DBE and OJT requirements <br />from MnDOT EEO. LSA will then prepare federal aid compliant DIVISION Zero <br />of the specifications for the project for review and approval from MnDOT along <br />with an edited Advertisement for Bids that complies with federal aid standards. <br />4. LSA will schedule, attend and mange the Pre -Bid Conference as well as attend <br />and manage the Bid Opening process. LSA will prepare a Bid Tabulation and a <br />letter of Recommendation for Award to the City. Concurrently, LSA will <br />complete all necessary submittals to MnDOT for Authorization to Award. <br />Task III Fee: <br />Schedule: <br />$23,500 plus normal reimbursable expenses <br />8 to 10 weeks (Some overlap w/ Task II) <br />Task IV — Construction Administration <br />1. Upon City Council Approval, LSA will issue a Notice of Intent to Award to the <br />apparent Lowest Responsible Bidder, coordinate their submittal to MnDOT <br />Office of EEO to assist with the contractor's approval of their DBE plan. <br />2. Upon EEO approval, LSA will issue all necessary DCP documents prior to <br />executing the contract. <br />2 of 3 <br />
