Commissioner Cleveland stated she thought the size of the sign is encouraging people to use <br />Armstrong Boulevard rather than Ramsey Boulevard. <br />Environmental Coordinator Anderson stated this sign sits north of the tracks and back from the <br />intersection, the sign on Ramsey Boulevard sits near the intersection with Highway 10. <br />Motion by Commissioner Van Scoy, seconded by Commissioner Brauer, to close the public <br />hearing. <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Levine, Commissioners Van Scoy, Brauer, and <br />Cleveland. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Dunaway, and Rogers. <br />The public hearing closed at 7:32 p.m. <br />Board Business <br />Motion by Commissioner Van Scoy, seconded by Commissioner Brauer to recommend that City <br />Council adopt the resolution adopting Findings of fact favorable to the applicant's request <br />relating to the City of Ramsey HRA's request for an interim use permit to deviate from sign <br />restrictions established in City Code with an additional finding to read "That the proposed sign is <br />part of the original signage and vision of The COR". <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Levine, Commissioners Van Scoy, Brauer, and <br />Cleveland. Voting No: None. Absent: Commissioners Dunaway, and Rogers. <br />Motion by Commissioner Van Scoy, seconded by Commissioner Brauer to recommend that City <br />Council adopt the resolution granting approval of an interim use permit to deviate from sign <br />restrictions at 14550 Armstrong Boulevard NW, based on the Findings of Fact, and declaring <br />terms of the same. <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Levine, Commissioners Van Scoy, Brauer, and <br />Cleveland. Voting No: None.
