Absent: Commissioners Dunaway, and Rogers. <br />Case #4: Request for Sketch Plan Review of Ramsey Town Center 12th Addition and <br />Preliminary Site Plan Review of Ramsey Medical Building; Case of PSD, <br />LLC <br />Presentation <br />Associate Planner Gladhill presented the staff report. <br />Board Business <br />Chairperson Levine asked what the difference is in the setback desired and what is required. <br />Associate Planner Gladhill stated it is an average of 10 feet. <br />Commissioner Cleveland inquired if a parking ramp were to be built would it impact the <br />orientation of the building. <br />Associate Planner Gladhill replied a parking ramp would not impact the orientation of the <br />building. <br />Commissioner Van Scoy inquired how the Floor Area Ratio (FAR) is being calculated and the <br />areas that are excluded. <br />Associate Planner Gladhill explained the FAR calculations and showed the areas that are being <br />excluded. <br />Discussion ensued regarding the shared access of the buildings that front Sunwood Drive and <br />parking. <br />Patrick Giordana, architect for the Ramsey medical building, stated the proposal is for a two <br />story multi -tenant medical office building and continued describing the building. <br />Jim Deal, owner of PSD, stated the VA clinic is on hold because of a protest to the final bidding. <br />He is working closely with another medical group that is interested in the building and location <br />as the VA would occupy the first floor only. <br />Commissioner Brauer stated his appreciation of the work Mr. Deal has done on behalf of the VA <br />clinic. <br />Special Planning Commission/September 16, 2010 <br />Page 6 of 9 <br />
