-174- <br /> <br />Councilmember Kurak inquired if there would be an area snow storage. <br /> <br />Developer replied that that would be done within the road right of way. He explained that the <br />cul-de-sac would be developed to gain access to the future service road in the future. <br /> <br />Councilmember Hendriksen stated that he personally would prefer to see the future connection <br />shifted towards the front. He also noted that he would like to see more spacing between the <br />townhomes and the existing neighborhood. <br /> <br />Principal Planner Trudgeon inquired if it would be reasonable for staff to report to the Planning <br />Commission to make the connection to the south. <br /> <br />Councilmember Anderson stated that every time there is a temporary cul-de-sac constructed that <br />is supposed to go through, when it times to make that connection it creates a controversy. Her <br />other concern with the development is only having one way in and one way out. <br /> <br />Mayor Gamec stated that this is a unique situation and will ·probably have to develop findings of <br />fact because of that. <br /> <br />Case//8: <br /> <br />Receive Bids and Award Contracts for the Construction of Sunwood Drive <br />NW between Sunfish Lake Boulevard .and C.R. //116 for Improvement <br />Project//99-52 <br /> <br />City Engineer Olson stated that Improvement Project 399-52 consists of 0.5 miles of City street <br />with watermain, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer to serve the development of over 56 acres of <br />commercial and industrial property, identified as Waste Management property. Authorization to <br />advertise for bids was ordered on December 11, 2001, and bids were received Wednesday, <br />January 16, 2002. Twenty-three bids were received and ranged from $769,415.83 to <br />$1,085,188.21.
