2.0 CUS'TOM C'AB OR OA~ THAT MEETS THE FOLLOWING YES NO SPEC'S 2.1 A 6 person, 4 door, with engine fo~ard cab shall be prc~vided. The front of the cab shall have (1) air ride drivers seat. The rear of the cab shall have (4) SCBA back type seats to meet cab configuration. All 8CBA type seats shall be compatible with a SCBA model to be provided. The seat shall also have split and hinged head rests and include mounting brackets. All seating shall meet NFPA requirements for Restraints. (Note: an additional SCBA harness shall be located in a compartment to be determined at pre-bull.d) 2.1.1 Seat upholstery shall'be hea'vy grade dark vinyl with the ' interior lining made from gray or other sound absorbing material. 2.1.2 Interior of cab, including head liner, shall be padded with gray or other color vinyl. Interior areas not padded shall be painted gray. 21'2' Cab shall be constructed of aluminu~n or ~)ther c'~rrosive -' resistant material approved .by the fire department. 2.2.1 ':l-i~ted glass p'roviaed for all windows where allowed. 2.3 A tilt rcab with an electric assisted I~Ydraulic lifting mechanism shall be provided. 2.4 The Cab shall have separate and independent heating and air conditioning for the front and rear areas. A total of 73,500 BTU's minimum for heating and 43,000 BTU's minimum for cooling. 2.5 (3) double dUplex 110v outi~tS shall be installed in'the ~ab in a location to be determined at pre-build. (Standard recepticles shall be pro. vided on all outlets unless otherwise state.d) 2'.6 Cab shall be .fully insulated including walls, ceiling and floor. 2.6.1' Floor insulation shall be ~p.rayed onto surface. 2.7 Mirrors shall be installed on each side of cab'front with a minimum size of 9.25" x 13.5". Mirrors shall have a convex section mounted below the fiat upper section. Separate bid: Heated Remco mirrors controlled by joystick located near driver's seat. 2.8 Steering wheel shall be adjustable with tilt and telescoping movements. 2.9 FIo~)'r shall be bright aluminum plate or material approved by " the fir.e depart.m, ent. 2.10 The outside rear wall of the crew cab shall be covered with a bright aluminum tread plate panel.
