I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />I <br />I <br /> <br />I <br /> <br />i <br />I <br /> <br />4.4 (2) 2 1/2" standpipe discharges, with valves, will be located at <br /> the front edge of the platform. <br />4.5 Controls for the platform and the waterway monitors shall be <br /> located at the platform and turntable base. <br />4.6 Breathing air shall be supplied to the platform with a system <br /> containing a minimum of 450 cubic foot storage contained in 1 <br /> or 2 4500psi bottle(s) <br />4.6.1 50' section(s) of high-pressure air hose with couplings shall be <br /> provided to refill air bottle(s). Couplings shall be approved at <br /> pre-bid. <br />4.6.2 All necessary components shall be provided to connect the air <br /> system to the SCBA masks used by the fire department at the <br /> platform. <br />4.7 Two 1500. watt, adjustable height, quartz Kwik, Raze, <br /> telescoping lights with on/off switching shall be mounted on <br /> the platform along with one 120v duplex outlet. <br />4.8 A flow meter display shall be installed on the platform, pump <br /> panel and turntable to read the flow in the aerial waterway. <br />4.9 The controls for the required water curtain discharge shall be <br /> located at the platform and turntable base. <br />4.10 Access doors located at the front of the platform shall swing <br /> inward and provide hands free operation. <br />4.11 A storage cabinet shall be installed in the platform capable of <br /> holding 2 SCBA masks and 4 safety harnesses. <br />4.12 On the top section of the ladder, on the inside rail, shall be <br /> mounted; (1) 16' roof ladder, (1) pick head axe, and (1) 8' pike <br /> pole. <br />4.13 Two 12v lights model Collins Fx12, 300,000 candle power (or <br /> equivalent) shall be mounted at the front of the platform, and <br /> two at the base of the aerial. <br />4.14 A minimum of 32 collector rings shall be provided that each <br /> supplies 20-amp continuous service between turntable and <br /> platform: <br />4.15 An hour meter, to measure aerial devise time in operation, <br /> shall be mounted at the control station on turntable. <br />4.16 One 1500 GPM Akron Stream Master remote control nozzle <br /> with wireless hand held controls and manual over ride, shall <br /> be provided on the front of the platform. <br />4.17 Aerial platform shall be designed to provide for the mounting <br /> of rescue basket support brackets, roof ladder support <br /> brackets and two repelling arms. <br />4.17.1 The brackets and hardware for the roof ladder (see 4.17) shall <br /> be provided with the apparatus. <br /> <br />-313. <br /> <br /> <br />
