Councilmernber introduced the following resolution and moved for it's adoption. RESOLUTION # 02-11-XXX RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF OFFICE FURNISHINGS AND COMPUTER HARDWARE FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT FROM THE EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT FUND NOT TO EXCEED $5,716.00 WHEREAS, staff recommends the replacement of existing file cabinets and purchase of additional work surfaces and accessories to acconnnodate office reconfigurations; and WHEREAS, staff also recommends the replacement of existing computer hardware and the purchase of additional computers, printers and accessories to accommodate current needs; and WHEREAS, it has been determined that the office furnishings can be fully funded from the Equiprnent Replacement Fund in an amount not to exceed $ 2,749.00; and WHEREAS, it has been determined that the computer hardware can be fully funded utilizing $1,238.00 from the equipment replacement fund and $1,729.00 from the 2002 Capital Computer Hardware and Software police account. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RAMSEY ANOKA COUNTY, STATE OF MINNESOTA, as follows: The Ramsey City Council hereby authorizes the purchase of office furnishings and cOmputer hardware from the Equipment Replacement Fund and the 2002 Capital Computer Hardware police account in an amount not to exceed a grand total of $ 5,716.00. · The motion for adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember and upon vote being taken thereon, The following voted in favor thereof: And the following voted against: And the following abstained: And the following were absent: Whereupon said resolution was declared duly passed and adopted by the Ramsey City COuncil this 12th day of November 2002.
