-182- <br /> <br />Mr. Griswald explained that the seed mix will give more of a natural look rather than a weed look <br />and the homeowners association will typically mow the area once or twice a year and any garbage <br />will be cleaned up on a regular basis. <br /> <br />Commissioner Brauer inquired if the homeowners association will take care of the maintenance of <br />the pond. <br /> <br />Mr. Griswald replied yes, explaining that they want the natural look, but they do mow it once or <br />twice a year to assist with the healthy growth. <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski explained that some deVelopments have lined ponds with clay so that it <br />stays mostly wet, but typically the specially seeded ponds are quite attractive. <br /> <br />Ms. Vandecar inquired as to what the tot lot will consist of. <br /> <br />Mr. Schulte replied that it will primarily be an area to play. <br /> <br />Ms. Vandecar inquired if the increase in traffic at the intersection of Riverdale Drive and Garnet <br />Street Will be addressed. <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowsld explained that there are some warrants that have to be met for the <br />placement ora four way stop that they could make some projections on. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt inquired as to what the justification was for no traffic generation analysis being <br />completed. <br /> <br />City Engineer Jankowski replied that the issue was that most of the traffic would go out to <br />Highway # 10. <br /> <br />Chairperson Nixt stated that he thought they needed to address the issue of a traffic generation <br />analysis since there are nUmerous collector streets that will be affected. <br /> <br />Motion by Chairperson Nixt, seconded by Commissioner Johnson, to close the public hearing. <br /> <br />Motion Carried. Voting Yes: Chairperson Nixt, Commissioners Johnson, Brauer, Kociscak, and <br />Reeve. Voting No: None.
